These layered jar mixes are a handy way to make a quick batch of healthy energy bites. There are three flavors to choose from and they make a quick and simple gift idea too.

Pint Size Canning Jars (I like to use wide-mouth)
Canning Jar Funnel (not absolutely necessary but very helpful!)
Ingredients:
Mini Chip Snack Bites
1cupquick oats
1/3cupground flax
1/3cupunsweetened coconut flakes
1/3cupmini chocolate chips
Chocolate/Cocoa Snack Bites
1cupquick oats
1/3cupground flax
1/4cupcocoa powder
2/3cupunsweetened coconut flakes
Krispie Snack Bites
1/2cupquick oats
1/2cupRice Krispie cereal
1/3cupground flax
1/3cupunsweetened coconut flakes
1/3cupgolden raisins
Instructions:
To layer the Mini Chip snack bites jar:Layer in a pint size jar as follows: 1/2 cup of the oats, the flax, the coconut flakes, the mini chips, and the remaining 1/2 cup of the oats.
To layer the Cocoa snack bites jar:Layer in a pint size jar as follows: 1/2 cup of the oats, the flax, the cocoa powder, the coconut flakes, and the remaining 1/2 cup of the oats.
To layer the Krispie snack bites jar:Layer the ingredients in the order and quantities as listed above (the oats, the cereal, the flax, the coconut flakes, and the raisins).
To Make A Jar of Healthy Snacks Bites:
To make a jar of snack bites combine in a mixing bowl a 1/2 cup of peanut butter, 1/3 cup of honey, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Add the contents of a jar and mix well. Roll the mixture into balls. Each jar will make approximately 20, 1" balls.
