Homemade Magic Shell Ice Cream Topping
It's quick and easy to make your own Magic Shell ice cream topping in the microwave using just two ingredients. This handy formula let's you make both small or larger sized batches.
Equipment:
- Microwave Safe Bowl
Ingredients:
For Each Person you are serving use:
- 1/4 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 tsp Coconut Oil
Instructions:
- Combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl.
- Heat for 30 seconds and stir. The chips will be soft but not yet completely melted.
- Heat for another 20 seconds and stir again. The ingredients should now mix together into a smooth sauce.
- Pour over ice cream and it will harden into a shell.
Notes:
Some examples of larger batches would be:
For 2 people: 1/2 cup of chips + 2 tsp coconut oil
For 3 people: 3/4 cup chips + 3 tsp coconut oil
For 4 people: 1 cup chips + 4 tsp coconut oil
