Homemade Kitchen Sink Scrub
Make your sink shine with this simple 2 ingredient natural cleaner.
Yield: 1 cup
Equipment:
- A recycled spice jar makes a frugal container for your finished mixture
Materials:
- 3/4 cup Baking Soda
- 1/4 cup Salt (I use regular table salt)
Instructions:
- Mix together the baking soda and salt.
- Transfer the mixture to a shaker jar. I like to use cleaned and repurposed spice jars that have flip tops with larger holes in them.
- To use: Sprinkle some of the mixture around your sink, scrub with a wet sponge or other scrubber, and then rinse well.
Notes:
You can also add fragrance to this mixture by either adding 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon to the mixture, or about 10 drops of an essential oil.
