3 teaspoonsApricot Oil

Example #2 - Two Tubes of Homemade Chapstick
1/2teaspoonCocoa Butter
1teaspoonBeeswax Pastilles
1-1/2teaspoonsApricot Oil
2dropsPeppermint Essential Oil(optional)
Instructions:
Combine the cocoa butter, beeswax, and oil in a glass measuring cup. Microwave in 20 second bursts until melted. (which you will probably have to do twice). Alternately, you can use the double boiler method by placing the ingredients in a glass bowl over a pan of boiling water and stirring until melted.
Once the mixture is melted, stir in any essential oil if using.
Next carefully pour the liquid into the empty lip balm tubes. I put a towel over my hand when holding the lip balm containers to protect myself from any hot liquid that might accidentally drip over.
Let the containers sit until the mixture has hardened up.
To clean up, while your glass measuring cup or bowl is still warm, wipe out as much of the residual liquid as you can using a paper towel. Then give it a final cleaning with soap and water.
