Enjoy a warm comforting bowl of this homemade chili that mixes together easily in your crockpot. If you do not want to use the plant-based meat crumbles, you can substitute a pound of browned ground beef in this recipe instead.

Ingredients:
1canChili Mix Beans (15 oz - undrained)
1canDiced Tomatoes (14.5 oz)
1cupFrozen plant-based meat crumbles (see notes)
1/4cupDiced green pepper
1/4cupDiced onion
1/4cupDiced matchstick carrots
SPICES:
2tspChili Powder
1tspCumin
1/2tspDried oregano
1/2tspGarlic salt
Sprinkling ofred pepper flakes
Instructions:
Empty the can of beans and diced tomatoes into the crockpot.
Add the cup of frozen plant-based meat crumbles to the crockpot and stir.
Add in the diced green pepper, onion, and carrots.
Finally, add the spices and stir everything together.
Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, or on high for 2 to 4 hours.
Notes:
My favorite brand of the plant-based meat crumbles is the Gardein brand.For a meat version, substitute one pound of browned and drained ground beef for the faux meat crumbles.For a super quick version, the chopped vegetables can be left out, or you can use a 1/4 cup from a bag of frozen diced green pepper, and/or a bag of frozen diced onions.
