Author: Beverly
Equipment:
White Distilled Vinegar
A Few Pieces of Paper Toweling
Instructions:
Wet the pieces of paper toweling with the vinegar so that the toweling is well saturated.
Place the vinegar-soaked paper toweling on the dirty surface of the shower head, pressing down lightly to make sure the paper toweling is in contact with the surface to be cleaned.
Let the paper toweling set on the surface for an hour so the vinegar can dissolve the buildup.
If after an hour there are still some dirty spots, let things set for another hour, moistening the paper towel with a bit more vinegar again if needed.
Then dispose of the paper toweling and give the shower head a final rinsing and cleaning with some water and a sponge or cloth.
Notes:
You can also use this vinegar soaking method for cleaning a shower head by putting vinegar in a baggie and wrapping it around the shower head and letting things soak for an hour.If there is any concern about using this method on the type of finish you have on your shower head, test it in a small area first by using a small bit of vinegar-soaked paper toweling.
