The internet is full of fun and interesting places to hang out. Some people love to check Facebook. Others think Twitter is the greatest.
My weakness? *Pinterest* Oh my, I can just spend altogether too much time on Pinterest. Even if I’m not pinning anything, I can just look and look at all the pictures.
This quote sums it up nicely:
Last night I did manage to be a little more productive on Pinterest. 🙂 I’ve added two new boards and reorganized things a little bit.
I’ve now added a board for my blog too, and titled it “The Make Your Own Zone” (no surprise there) where I’ll pin new and favorite things from this blog, This allows disclosure that it’s my own stuff I’m pinning, and gives readers a way to follow along on Pinterest with my latest recipes and ideas.
You can follow along and check it out here: The Make Your Own Zone Pinterest Board
I’ve also added a new board titled “Brand Name Copycats” for all those cool clone recipes I come across.
You can follow along and check it out heree: Brand Name Copycats Pinterest Board
A few goodies from the Brand Name Copycats board are a fun recipe for homemade Pizza Hut Personal Pan Pizzas . . . .
. . . . and homemade Velveeta Cheese!
Both of these new Pinterest boards are still works in progress, but I’ll be adding more to both of them!
How To Rearrange Pinterest Boards
After I added my two new boards, I wanted to rearrange them a little bit. Pinterest simply puts them in the order you created them, with the newer ones showing up at the end of the line.
It wasn’t very obvious to me at first how to do it so now that I know which button is the secret button, I’ll share it with you too.
1. Hover over your name in the top right hand corner, and then click on “Boards” in the drop down menu that appears.
2. On this page you will see an “Edit Profile” button in the middle of the navigation bar under your profile picture.
3. To the right of the Edit Profile button is another button with a picture of a square with arrows on either side. This button does not say anything! Grrrrr. This is the button you need to click on. When you hover over it, it will say “Rearrange Boards”.
4. Once you click on that button, you will be able to drag and drop the boards to arrange them in the order you wish.
