Homemade Dill Dip for Chips and Veggies
If you’re the type of person who likes to keep some dip in the house for when the munchies strike, why not Make Your Own by whipping up a batch of this easy homemade dip that’s delicious with fresh veggies or potato chips.
This recipe uses common ingredients and spices that you’re likely to already have on hand in the frig and pantry. Although it stirs together quickly it tastes better if you let it set for a few hours or even overnight to let the flavors blend together, so a little patience is needed for optimum flavor!
Homemade Dill Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
2/3 cup Mayonnaise
1/3 cup Sour Cream
1 Tbl Dried Minced Onions
1 Tbl Dried Parsley Flakes
1 tsp Seasoning Salt (I use Lawry’s)
1 tsp Dill Weed
1 tsp Worcestshire Sauce
Mix all ingredients together and keep chilled in refrigerator. Let set for several hours or overnight to let the flavors blend together.
I use dips with vegetables since we do not eat chips anymore. Dips are a great low carb snack! I love your blog and all the great ideas you post.
That looks delicious Bev. I sometimes make dip without the mayo just the sour cream. I bet this makes it easier to dip the chips in…
PS Are those Aldi chips?:)\
I almost always have Aldi chips in the house but this was one of those rare occasions where we had Lays chips around because they were on a BOGO special and so those are Lays chips in the picture. We were living large this week – ha!
