Sorry I’m a little late with my favorite finds for this month. I’ve been doing a little maintenance work on the blog – AND – I’ve been setting up some boards on Pinterest. Have you checked out Pinterest yet? Oh my goodness! What a fun place to waste spend time looking at and getting inspiration for all sorts of crafts, recipes and projects that we just know we will get around to doing . . . . someday.
*Yes we will *
Pinterest is a site that is a virtual bulletin board where you can “pin” great things that you find on the internet and it has quickly become my new source for “favorite finds”. You can also repin things that others have pinned on Pinterest. I’m just starting to get my boards set up and so far I’m loving it!
So for this month’s favorite finds I thought I would share just a few links to items from my Mason Jar Love board which is where I am pinning all the cute projects I come across made from canning jars.
This month why not make your own . . . .
These tinted mason jars would look so cute with a bouquet of fresh flowers. These are made with a mixture of Mod Podge and food coloring and then are dried in a low temperature oven.
Here’s a simple idea for recycling the top of a salt container and cutting it to fit the top opening of a canning jar. Now you have a handy pour spout for a mason jar!
You can also click below to follow me on Pinterest and check out some of my other boards {of course I have a DIY and Make Your Own Board}
I’ve also recently set up a Facebook page for the Make Your Own Zone which you can “Like” and follow, as well as a Twitter account you can follow. I’ve added butons to the sidebar of the blog, or you can click on the links below:
